Located in the serene Adam Park, we will let you make up your own mind about 7Adam’s concept

By Brandon Era

I got off at the Botanic Gardens MRT station and took a long and winding trudge all the way to 7Adam for dinner.

Located along Adam Road, inside the serene Adam Park, 7Adam looked every bit as exciting as I had imagined and I was looking forward to having my meal there after a long day.

Art & Food

The first things that greeted me were two statues, or should I say sculptures, by different artists. The front of the house boasted quite a big gallery, containing various artwork and pieces from all over.

Now, I’m not a big fan of art but even I thought that the concept of the place was pretty cool. We were shown to our seats for the Chill-on-Deck night, which 7Adam has every Friday and Saturday.

We ordered a side of Truffle Fries and Crispy ‘Goma’ Chicken to kick-start our night. The food did not take too long to arrive and the tapas menu was affordable as well.

Honestly, the fries and chicken could have been served a little warmer but they still tasted nice.

Lights and Music

I also ordered their new signature cocktail: Element 7. It’s a cocktail that consists of vodka, lychee extract and lychee liquor, with a sparkling lemon lime finish at the end.

The way it was served was really cool as well, with both the liquids suspended in the same glass, allowing you to pour different amounts of lychee liquor and vodka to suit your taste buds.

I felt that the lights were a little too dim to see what I was eating or drinking, and the music was a tad bit soft as well. There was room for improvement but overall it was quite an enjoyable night.
